WiPreSS is a project  in progress.

Goals:

 Intuitive and complete GUI

 User experience have to be simple,  without any losses in term of variable customizations. It means all the most important variable of the simulation are definable in the graphical interfaces. Tabs and dock widget define the access to these variable with different stages and category.  

 Best compromise  fast-computation/qualities-of-result.

Expecially concerning the definition of channels and signal propagation, different model are designed. 

Develop of WiPreSS is comprehensive of the study coherent and fast model.

 Antennas importing/exporting tool  (both MSI and ANT files)

It include class for import/export of MSI and ANT Files.

The same class provide some function for combination of multiple element.

 Envrionment processing

 In design of wireless networks  are determinant the environment specifications. 

WiPreSS provide algorithm for interpolation of raster DEM and merging with vectorial building files.

For example: it is possible to combine public repositories of Nasa (HGT) with OpenStreeMap database.

 Signal computation and visualization

 tools for visualize result of simulation (Power Spectrum, scattering, eye diagram.. )

 Test of protocols (wimax, wifi, p2p ) and performance. UDP and TCP/IP Service.

 Generation of virtual network infrastructure related to defined points (for virtual machine) 

Definition of point, topologies and realization for testing of application, and interfaces with real network
